Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale sat out his side's first-team training session on Tuesday morning following a heavy challenge in Sunday's 2-0 win at Elche.
The Welshman picked up a knock in the second period after a late and untidy tackle from Aaron Niguez, but it is understood that he will be fit for the La Liga clash at home to Villarreal this weekend.
Raphael Varane and Dani Carvajal were also absent on Tuesday, but again, both are expected to be fit to return to training later this week.
Martin Odegaard, who scored his first Real Madrid Castilla goal at the weekend, was part of the training group, however, alongside fellow youngsters Alvaro Medran and Derik Osede.
