Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he does not have "a single day without pain", but has learned to cope with his injury problems over the last couple of seasons.
The Real Madrid attacker has not missed a single minute of club football for Los Blancos this season despite being plagued by a chronic knee problem.
The 30-year-old has said that having niggles is part and parcel of being a professional footballer and has come to terms with them through experience.
"There is not a single day without pain. Every player will say the same. It's part of the job and you have to deal with it. I now realise things that I didn't when I was younger. I have always tried to improve and you gain more experience over the years," Ronaldo told Kicker.
Ronaldo suffered with his knee in the latter stages of the 2013-14 season and was also not fully fit for Portugal at the 2014 World Cup.
