Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic has sustained a fractured foot during the coronavirus-enforced postponement.
The Serbian will no longer be able to take part in Real's proposed training return next Monday, and it is currently not known how Jovic suffered the fracture amid the country's lockdown.
"After the tests carried out today on our player Luka Jović by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he was diagnosed with an extra-articular fracture in the calcaneus bone of the right foot," read a statement on Real's website.
Jovic has struggled to make an impact at the Bernabeu since his arrival last summer, registering two goals from 15 La Liga appearances for Los Blancos.
The 22-year-old could supposedly be allowed to leave Real this summer, with Newcastle United and West Ham United among the sides said to be keeping tabs on Jovic.
