Real Madrid have revealed that Sergio Ramos has suffered an injury to his left calf, which is expected to sideline him for the next three weeks.
Ramos has scored an incredible 11 times in 42 appearances for Los Blancos during the 2018-19 campaign.
Madrid will have to do without the 33-year-old until the latter stages of the season, though, with the European champions confirming the blow via a statement.
"After the tests carried out on our player Sergio Ramos by the Real Madrid medical services, he has been diagnosed with a grade I injury in the left soleus. The player's situation will continue to be monitored," read a statement on the club's official website.
Madrid's elimination from the Champions League in the round of 16 means that they only have seven more games - all in the league - before their campaign draws to a close.
