Real Madrid have revealed that skipper Sergio Ramos and Isco have picked up injuries that will keep them sidelined for an unspecified amount of time.
Ramos is suffering from a calf strain sustained against Leganes in midweek and Isco has a problem with his left hip, ruling them out of Saturday afternoon's trip to Valencia.
Madrid did not confirm in the statement released on Friday how long the duo would miss, but the club captain is unlikely to play for at least another fortnight.
Under-fire boss Zinedine Zidane has his front-three trio of Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema to call upon for the trip to the Mestalla, however.
Los Blancos trail third-placed Valencia by five points ahead of this weekend's clash, with a game in hand to play.
