Mallorca vs. Rayo Vallecano (Sunday, 5.30pm)

A La Liga mid-table showdown takes place at Mallorca Son Moix on Sunday evening, as Mallorca lock horns with Rayo Vallecano in the final gameweek of the 2022-23 season.

While neither side is realistically playing for anything other than pride, Javier Aguirre's team will leapfrog their visitors in the table with another maximum in front of their own fans.

We say: Mallorca 2-1 Rayo Vallecano

Rayo Vallecano may have more to fight for than Mallorca on the final day as they seek to upset the Europa Conference League apple cart, but unless Iraola can fix his side's away-day misfortunes overnight, the visitors are destined to fall short.

Aguirre's side have also made up for shortcomings on the road with dominant showings on their own patch, and we are backing such a trend to continue, allowing Mallorca to jump up the rankings on the final day while dashing Vallecano's dreams of continental football.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Real Sociedad vs. Sevilla (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Having both sealed their spots in the 2023-24 Champions League via different routes, Real Sociedad and Sevilla do battle in Sunday's La Liga finale at Reale Arena.

The hosts confirmed a top-four finish last weekend despite going down 2-1 to Atletico Madrid, while Los Palanganas' spate of Europa League successes continued with victory over Roma in the showpiece match.

We say: Real Sociedad 0-0 Sevilla

In what is the true definition of a dead rubber, neither Sociedad nor Sevilla will deploy their strongest starting lineups at Reale Arena, where fans should prepare for a relatively uneventful encounter between two sides who already have an eye on their holidays.

Alguacil's side may still look to take advantage of their visitors' weary and jet-lagged legs, but with the hosts also sure to give minutes to their peripheral players, we can only envisage the Champions League qualifiers happily shaking hands on a point apiece.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Real Madrid vs. Athletic Bilbao (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Real Madrid will be looking to secure second position in the La Liga table when they welcome top-seven hopefuls Athletic Bilbao to Bernabeu on Sunday night.

Los Blancos are currently second in the division, one point ahead of third-placed Atletico Madrid, while Athletic occupy eighth, level on points with seventh-placed Osasuna.

We say: Real Madrid 2-1 Athletic Bilbao

Athletic have a lot to fight for on the final matchday of the campaign, but the Basque outfit are again expected to be missing some important players, which could cost them the chance to pick up a positive result. Real Madrid will also be looking to secure the victory which would guarantee second, and we are expecting the home side to collect all three points at Bernabeu.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Villarreal vs. Atletico (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Atletico Madrid will head to Villarreal on the final matchday of the 2022-23 La Liga campaign looking for the win that could see them finish in second position in the table.

Diego Simeone's side are currently third, one point behind second-placed Real Madrid, while Villarreal occupy fifth, which is where they will finish regardless of what happens on Sunday.

We say: Villarreal 1-1 Atletico Madrid

Atletico are again expected to be missing some important players for this match, and Villarreal are likely to provide stern opposition for Simeone's side. It would not be a surprise to see the visitors grind out a narrow win, but we are expecting the points being shared on Sunday might.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Osasuna vs. Girona (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Two clubs battling for Europa Conference League qualification will go head-to-head when Osasuna welcome Girona to El Sadar on Sunday.

Osasuna will start the contest in seventh place in the La Liga table, but the visitors are just one point adrift in ninth position.

We say: Osasuna 2-1 Girona

Girona's European bid appears to have run out of steam with a four-game winless run, and we think the visitors will fall to a narrow defeat against an Osasuna side that have won four of their last five home league matches.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Betis vs. Valencia (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Valencia will travel to Real Betis on Sunday evening knowing that a victory would guarantee their status in Spain's top flight for another campaign.

The visitors are currently 15th in the La Liga table, two points clear of the relegation zone, while Real Betis are sixth, and Manuel Pellegrini's side will end the season in that position regardless of what happens on the final matchday.

We say: Real Betis 1-1 Valencia

Valencia have a recent away victory over Real Betis to their name, triumphing in April 2019, but it is difficult to back them to win this match, having only claimed three victories on their travels this term. A point could be enough to keep Valencia in the division, and we are expecting the spoils to be shared here.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Celta Vigo vs. Barcelona (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Celta Vigo will welcome La Liga champions Barcelona to the Estadio Municipal de Balaidos on Sunday evening knowing that a win would guarantee their position in Spain's top flight for another season.

The home side are currently 17th in the table, one point above 18th-placed Real Valladolid, while Barcelona confirmed their position as champions last month, and the Catalan outfit will be bidding to record their 29th league victory of the campaign on the final matchday of action.

We say: Celta Vigo 1-2 Barcelona

Celta need to win to guarantee their survival, but we are finding it very difficult to back the hosts with any real confidence. Barcelona are under no pressure, but the Catalan outfit have such quality across the field, and we are expecting the champions to end their campaign with a win.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Valladolid vs. Getafe (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Two teams battling for their La Liga survival will face off on the final day of the season when Real Valladolid play host to Getafe on Sunday.

The hosts are languishing in the relegation zone with one point separating them from safety, while Getafe are two points clear of their opponents.

We say: Real Valladolid 1-1 Getafe

With so much at stake on the final day of the season, we expect Sunday's contest to be a cagey affair, which may suit a Getafe side that would be content with picking up a point.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Elche vs. Cadiz (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Cadiz will look to secure La Liga survival when they travel to Elche for the final game of the La Liga season.

The hosts have already been relegated to the second tier, but they will be determined to finish the campaign with a positive result in Sunday's contest.

We say: Elche 2-1 Cadiz

Elche may be heading to the second tier, but they have taken seven points from their last three matches, and we think they will pick up the victory against a Cadiz side that has lost three consecutive away games.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Espanyol vs. Almeria (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Almeria will attempt to stave off relegation when they make the trip to the RCDE Stadium to face Espanyol on the final day of the season.

Meanwhile, Sunday's contest will be the last La Liga game that Espanyol will play for at least one season after their relegation was confirmed last weekend.

We say: Espanyol 1-1 Almeria

Almeria have won just one of their 18 away league games this season, and with Espanyol unbeaten in three matches, we think the visitors will have to be content with a point.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
