Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that Gareth Bale has regained his confidence, after the Welsh winger scored two goals during the international break.
The 25-year-old put two past Israel in their Euro 2016 qualifier, helping secure a 3-0 victory over their Group B opponents.
The Welshman has recently been subjected to criticism from the Spanish press but says that he "does not need to answer critics".
The performance for Wales has installed confidence in Ancelotti, who fully expects the winger to make a big impact in Real Madrid's next game against Granada.
"The international break has helped him gain confidence," Ancelotti told reporters on Saturday.
"Plus the last two games he has played at home, [against Levante and Schalke], Bale has played well."
Bale has scored 16 goals in the 39 appearances he has made for Real this season.
