Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has paid tribute to James Rodriguez following the Colombian's impressive display in the 5-0 triumph over Cornella.
Rodriguez scored twice in the victory as Madrid secured a 9-1 aggregate success in the Copa del Rey tie, and Ancelotti was keen to praise the 23-year-old for his form since moving to the club in the summer.
"It was not easy for James to arrive to Real Madrid," the Italian told reporters. "But he has proved his quality and attitude.
"We're happy with him, he is a humble boy and that's important.
"We have won properly and showed quality in our play. We will never think in terms of breaking records. We have an important game now against Celta on Saturday to stay as leaders in La Liga."
Madrid return to action against Celta Vigo on Saturday evening.
