Almeria boss Sergi Barjuan has praised his side following Sunday's 2-0 win over Eibar in La Liga.
The three points moved the Andalusian club out of the relegation zone and the newly-appointed manager believes that his team's fighting spirit shone through.
"From the outside you can believe it's very easy to win football matches but it's not always the case," Barjuan told reporters.
"The important thing was to get the win and we played very well in both halves. However, after the opening 20 minutes I wasn't happy because we lost possession of the ball and they were beating us to it.
"We corrected that and then were much more relaxed and assertive in all aspects of our play, although my players showed they were prepared to suffer right until the end."
Almeria, who have won two of their four league games since Barjuan took charge earlier this month, travel to Real Madrid on Wednesday evening, while they must also face Malaga, Sevilla and Valencia before the end of the season.
