Former Real Madrid defender Roberto Carlos believes that Barcelona's Jordi Alba is the joint-best left-back in the world alongside Marcelo.
Carlos, who won four league titles and three Champions League crowns during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu, has also praised Alba's goalscoring threat.
"Along with Marcelo, Alba's the best left-back. His explosive pace makes him important in both defence and attack. He's also a proven goalscorer," he told Marca.
Alba was among the goals as Spain recorded a 2-0 win over Finland on Friday.
