Real Madrid defender Daniel Carvajal has said that the dismissal of Sergio Ramos during his side's 2-2 draw with Osasuna was harsh and unfair.
Ramos was sent off for a second yellow for apparently catching Roberto Torres with an elbow, as Madrid had to settle for a point at the end of the game.
"I thought the sending-off was harsh and unfair as it changed the game," said Carvajal after the game, according to Goal.com.
"Because we are Real Madrid and we are ambitious, the result is not enough, especially because of how we started the game and the chances we had to make it 0-1.
"Then the harsh and unfair sending off of Ramos changed the game. It was obvious that the first yellow wasn't even a foul. The referee made a mistake like we all make mistakes."
Madrid find themselves in third place in La Liga following the draw.
