Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro believes that Cristiano Ronaldo deserves to win the Ballon d'Or.

Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro has branded teammate Cristiano Ronaldo "an amazing person".

Meanwhile, the Brazilian has also insisted that the Portugal captain should be handed the Ballon d'Or award over Lionel Messi and Franck Ribery.

"Cristiano is an amazing person. He always wants to help everyone, always looks for the good of everyone. He comes to training and is always happy and very professional," he told AS.

"For me, he has to be the winner of the Ballon d'Or. Being with him is a great learning experience. He is the best in the world."

Casemiro has also recently hinted that he will not leave the Bernabeu in the January transfer window.
