The father of Real Madrid playmaker Mesut Ozil has insisted that his son has yet to reach his peak as a footballer.
Ozil has become a key player for both Real and his country Germany and Mustafa Ozil said that an important part of that is the player's love for the club and the fans.
"Ozil is very happy in Madrid. He loves the club, the city and the fans, which have in all this time been really affectionate towards him," his father told Marca. "In that way we are really happy. Mesut feels very much at home playing at Real Madrid.
"Right now he's playing at a great level, but I think he can still improve. He's only 24, with a long way to go. I'm proud of what he has achieved so far, but he can do even better."
Ozil has scored 14 goals in 46 caps for Germany.
