Ruud Gullit believes that Cristiano Ronaldo should win this year's Ballon d'Or.
The award for the world's best player will be handed out in January and is likely to be given to either Ronaldo or Barcelona's Lionel Messi.
However, former Chelsea and Newcastle United manager Gullit thinks that the trophy should be given to the Real Madrid star.
"Ronaldo deserves to get the trophy of World's Best Player," Gullit told The Mirror.
"Cristiano deserves the confirmation that he is an incredibly good player. They can do that by handing him the Ballon d'Or. And for me he really is the best player of 2012. I really want the biggest individual award in world football to go to him."
Ronaldo won La Liga with Los Blancos last season.
