Former Real Madrid midfielder Guti lights fuse ahead of Madrid derby

Not one Atletico Madrid player would make it into Real Madrid's current first XI, according to former Los Blancos midfielder Guti.

Former Real Madrid midfielder Guti has claimed that no Atletico Madrid player would get into the first XI of Los Blancos.

The 39-year-old represented Real Madrid between 1986 and 2010, before leaving the Bernabeu to spend one season in Turkish football.

The former Spanish international still speaks regularly to the media about Los Blancos and he has taunted Atletico ahead of Saturday's La Liga clash between the two teams.

"I don't think any Atleti player could play in this Madrid team," Guti told reporters at a promotional event on Thursday.

Atletico will enter this weekend's derby one point and one spot above third-placed Real Madrid in the La Liga table.
