Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has insisted that the Championship club will try to build "good links" with Real Madrid.
The recently-promoted side took on the Spanish giants in an exhibition match at the Goldsands Stadium, falling to a 6-0 defeat, with Cristiano Ronaldo netting two goals during the fixture.
During the post-match press conference, Howe was probed on whether the club could acquire some of Madrid's youngsters at some point in the future.
Howe replied: "We're hoping to build good links between the clubs. You can't have too many good relationships with people in foreign leagues and who knows, that may become an opportunity at some stage.
"We're trying to build a squad full of good players for the Championship, so who knows what the future holds but certainly they've been very good to us and hopefully that relationship between the two clubs can improve."
The Cherries will get their Championship campaign underway with a clash against Charlton Athletic on August 3.
