Juventus director general Beppe Marotta has told Real Madrid that Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal is not for sale.
The 24-year-old only signed for the Bianconeri from German side Bayer Leverkusen for £8.5m last summer.
Vidal has become an integral part of Antonio Conte's squad since his move from the Bundesliga, helping Juve to challenge for the Serie A title.
According to reports, Madrid have approached the player's agent Fernando Felicevich to sound out a possible move.
However, Marotta has now dismissed any chance of Vidal moving away from Turin, labelling him as "one of the pillars" of today and tomorrow.
"I made it clear to Felicevich, and indirectly to Real, that Vidal is not for sale," Marotta told Tuttosport. "Vidal isn't available for transfer and it has nothing to do with his fee.
"The simple truth is that Vidal is one of the pillars at Juventus for today and tomorrow."
Vidal has scored six goals in 27 appearances this season.
