Toni Kroos has insisted that he is the right player to help Real Madrid achieve more success after his move to the European champions was completed on Thursday.
After enjoying a number of successful years with Bayern Munich, Kroos is confident that he can produce his best form on a regular basis in the Spanish capital as he attempts to justify a fee believed to be in the region of £20m.
"I know that at this club you are expected to win trophies, but I'm the right man for that because I'm used to winning," the German midfielder told members of the media.
"I cannot think of anything more wonderful than being here. This is the biggest club in the world.
"In 2013 I won the Champions League and in 2014 Real won it, and I hope we can win it again next year. I hope to be able to return the confidence this club has shown in me."
Kroos won 12 trophies during his time with Bayern.
