FIFA has announced that Joachim Low, Carlo Ancelotti and Diego Simeone will battle it out for the 2014 FIFA Coach of the Year award.
Germany coach Low clinched the highest honour at international level in the summer by guiding his country to World Cup glory in Brazil.
Ancelotti takes his place on the shortlist after helping Real Madrid clinch a historic 10th triumph in the Champions League with victory over city rivals Atletico.
Real also added to their bulging trophy cabinet by winning the UEFA Super Cup and the Copa del Rey.
Simeone joins Low and Ancelotti as a nominee after overseeing Atletico Madrid's first triumph in La Liga since 1996. The Spaniards also lifted the Supercopa de Espana, though they missed out on Champions League glory to Real.
