Lionel Messi took home 41.33% of the votes as the Barcelona forward was named the Ballon d'Or winner for 2015 on Monday night in Zurich.
Messi fended off competition from Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar to claim the award for a fifth time and did so with just over 41% of the overall votes.
Ronaldo, who finished second, claimed 27.76% of the votes, while Neymar came in third with 7.86%, according to the breakdown released by FIFA.
Journalists, national team coaches and captains all submitted votes and it was revealed that England captain Wayne Rooney had picked Messi to land the top prize.
England boss Roy Hodgson also had Messi and Ronaldo in his top two, but selected Eden Hazard in third.
