Celta Vigo forward Nolito has admitted that his team struggled to cope with Real Madrid's attack in Sunday's La Liga clash.
Celta scored twice in the six-goal thriller, but four goals conceded saw Real Madrid emerge with all three points.
Nolito believes that his side were "brave" during the league clash, but has conceded that Real Madrid's forward options were the difference in Vigo.
"We faced a Madrid team that possesses a lot of talent and are great in attack," the 28-year-old, who scored the opening goal of the game, told reporters.
"We didn't do badly in this game although we lacked composure at certain times, but we must congratulate Real Madrid.
"They killed us with the three goals they scored in the first half and the fourth one eventually saw us off, but we were brave and competed. We lacked self-assurance when we were ahead but we tried. Right now we have 42 points and we'll contest every game."
Celta currently sit ninth in the table, five points off the top seven.
