Martin Odegaard has revealed his delight after making his official Real Madrid debut on Saturday evening.
The 16-year-old became Real Madrid's youngest ever player when he replaced Cristiano Ronaldo in the second half of Los Blancos' 7-3 victory over Getafe in the final game of the La Liga season.
The teenager has also become the youngest player to feature in Spain's top flight.
"It was very special for me to play at the [Santiago] Bernabeu [on Saturday]," he told Real Madrid's official television channel.
"I'm proud and happy. I've had a fine first year and really enjoyed it. I felt very comfortable [on the pitch]. I was nervous to play in front of so many fans, but I tried to enjoy it."
Odegaard has trained with both the first team and Real Madrid Castilla this season, which has reportedly caused friction.
