Barcelona centre-back Gerard Pique has denied reports suggesting that his relationship with Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is at an all-time low.
On Wednesday, reports claimed that the Spain defenders had fallen out over the Catalan star's public political views, and that they were not on speaking terms.
Pique, who was abused by Roja fans as he trained with the national team on Monday, has poured cold water on the speculation, also revealing that he and Ramos are to launch a business together.
"The stuff about Sergio and me is all a lie," the Blaugrana stalwart is quoted by Sport English as saying.
"We have a phenomenal relationship, and I would like if someday you see that. It's easy that every now and again you say we get to together to sort things out, but there's no need.
"We're very close, and we will be partners in a business that I proposed to him."
Pique has made 91 appearances for Spain so far in his career, scoring five goals along the way.
