Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has opted to leave out Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo for Saturday's fixture with Leganes.
Zidane and his first-team squad still have ambitions to finish in second place in the La Liga standings, with Atletico Madrid only holding a four-point advantage having played one game more than their neighbours.
However, Zidane has seemingly prioritised the second leg of the Champions League semi-final with Bayern Munich after handing Ramos and Ronaldo a rest for Saturday's game at the Bernabeu.
Ramos has made a total of 34 starts for Real in all competitions this season, while Ronaldo has featured on 38 occasions.
Zidane could potentially hand a chance to Gareth Bale, who has started a number of games on the bench in recent weeks.
