Real Madrid will reportedly appeal against the red card handed to Spanish centre-back Sergio Ramos in their 2-2 draw with Osasuna at the weekend.
Ramos was given his marching orders in the first period of the La Liga clash after appearing to strike opponent Roberto Torres with his arm minutes before the interval.
However, the capital outfit are hopeful that the competition committee will overturn at least one of the defender's yellow cards, making him available for next weekend's clash with Valencia.
Ramos, who has been linked with a move away from Madrid in recent months, has collected 18 red cards and 127 yellows during his eight-year Bernabeu career.
