Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has insisted that he is not thinking about the prospect of being crowned the Ballon d'Or winner.
The 28-year-old has been tipped to take the honour over the likes of Lionel Messi and Franck Ribery after scoring four goals over two legs in Portugal's playoff campaign against Sweden.
"I don't think a lot about the Ballon d'Or," BBC Sport quotes Ronaldo as saying. "I know that it is handed out in January, but I cannot say that I will not go.
"I prefer to not say anything because things don't depend solely on me. I am not obsessed with the Ballon d'Or. We will see what happens."
Ronaldo has netted five hat-tricks for club and country so far this season.
