Real Madrid defender Theo Hernandez has branded Sunday's La Liga clash with Atletico Madrid 'extra special' due to the fact that his brother Lucas Hernandez plays his football for Diego Simeone's side.
Theo swapped Atletico for Real in last summer's transfer window, but Lucas stayed with the Red and Whites, and has become an important figure for the club during the 2017-18 campaign.
Theo has insisted that matches between Real and Atletico are "always special", but the added sibling rivalry takes it to a new level.
"Derby games are always special but coming up against my brother makes this even more special for me," Theo told Diario AS. "At home we do not discuss this and while we do annoy each other and wind each other up, we generally get on very well."
Real Madrid are currently third in La Liga - four points off second-placed Atletico Madrid, who trail league leaders Barcelona by nine points.
