Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has insisted that his players have put Cristiano Ronaldo's controversial comments regarding his teammates behind them.
In the wake of Real's 1-0 home defeat to city rivals Atletico Madrid on Saturday, Ronaldo appeared to claim that the club lacked the strength in depth to challenge for major honours.
The striker has since backtracked on his comments, though, and Zidane has now stressed that his squad are fully focused on matters ahead.
"Cristiano has spoken to everyone, with me and all, the matter is past," Zidane told reporters.
"We know the importance of Cristiano and we're all with him. What's important is what we have ahead of us and we'll get through it together."
The defeat saw Real slip 12 points behind Barcelona in the La Liga title race.
