Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane has said that he was "very happy" with Luka Modric following last night's 2-1 win away at Granada.
It seemed that Zidane's men were going to have to settle for a share of the spoils as the game entered the closing stages in Andalusia, only for Modric to strike five minutes from time.
Speaking to the club's official website after the final whistle, the Madrid boss said of the Croatian midfielder: "He scored a fantastic goal that gave us a boost, and above all, the three points
"I am very happy with him because he needs to shoot more. He knows how to play in a lot of positions, also in 10. He had a phenomenal shot and I am happy for him."
The goal was the first that Modric has scored in La Liga this season.
