Karim Benzema scored twice as Real Madrid recorded a comfortable 4-1 win over Getafe in La Liga on Saturday.
Benzema netted twice in the opening 16 minutes at the Bernabeu, before Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo registered to leave the home side four goals ahead at the end of the first period.
There was just one goal in the second half and it came for Getafe, with Alexis registering in the 70th minute.
Here, Sports Mole has taken a closer look at how each player performed in the Spanish capital.
REAL MADRID
Goal
Keylor Navas: Did not have an awful lot to do for long spells and could do nothing about Alexis's header that found the back of the net. Inspires confidence between the sticks for Los Blancos. (7/10)
Defence
Lucas Vasquez: Came as a surprise when the winger was deployed at right-back, but he provided a strong threat in the final third and was also prepared to work back to keep the visitors in check. (7/10)
Pepe: Led by example at the heart of the defence. Did not have the toughest of afternoons against a poor Getafe front-line, but the centre-back put in a rock-solid performance at the back. (7/10)
Nacho: Has been given plenty of football this season due to Real Madrid's injury problems and the Spaniard had a decent game at the heart of the defence. No-frills performance. (6/10)
Danilo: Once again started at left-back due to Marcelo's absence. Was prepared to break forward, but the Brazilian's crossing was a little erratic. Did well to finish the game while carrying a knock. (6/10)
Midfield
Luka Modric: Dictated matters in the first period as Real Madrid picked their way through the Getafe midfield. Continued to use the ball intelligently before being replaced just past the hour mark. (8/10)
Toni Kroos: Set up Ronaldo's goal with a wonderful through pass and kept things ticking over from a central position. Did not need to be at his absolute best, but was still impressive. (7/10)
James Rodriguez: Struggled to make an impact in a more withdrawn role. Does seem to have a strained relationship with Rafael Benitez and did not have his best game in the capital. (6/10)
Attack
Cristiano Ronaldo: Set up Bale's goal with a clever header, before finding the back of the net himself three minutes later. Still Real Madrid's best player and still their go-to man when needed. (8/10)
Karim Benzema: Played a key role in the victory after scoring Real Madrid's first two goals. Might have problems off-the-field at the moment, but he was in excellent form for his team in Madrid. (8/10)
Gareth Bale: Has started to find form in recent weeks and the Welshman was again on the scoresheet here. Credited with the assist from Benzema's second, before scoring his team's third. (7/10)
Substitutes
Mateo Kovacic: Replaced his fellow Croatian in central midfield for the final 30 minutes. Did not do anything spectacular at the Bernabeu, but was a bundle of energy in the middle of the park. (6/10)
Jese Rodriguez: Might well depart Real Madrid in January in search of regular football and the Spaniard was only given the final 10 minutes here. Saw little of the ball in the latter stages. (6/10)
Alvaro Arbeloa: Thought that he was coming on just past the hour, but Danilo eventually recovered from a foot problem. Was given the final three minutes of action at the heart of the defence. (6/10)
GETAFE
Goal
Vicente Guaita: Conceded four times, which is never great for a goalkeeper, but the Spaniard made some decent saves early on and was left horribly exposed by his back four in the capital. (6/10)
Defence
Damian Suarez: Ventured forward on a couple of occasions and came close with a long-range strike in the first period, but the full-back found it difficult to contain the home side's forwards. (5/10)
Alexis: Had a bit of a nightmare at the back under pressure from Real Madrid's 'BBC', but the centre-back got his name on the scoresheet with a super header 20 minutes from time. (6/10)
Cala: Along with others, must take blame for some terrible defending, especially for both Benzema goals. There did not seem to be much organisation in the Getafe back four. (5/10)
Roberto Lago: Was out-thought and out-paced by Ronaldo for Real Madrid's fourth goal and did not have many opportunities to break forward. A difficult game for the full-back. (5/10)
Midfield
Medhi Lacen: Should have been stronger inside the box moments before Benzema scored his second, which put the game beyond Getafe. Did not give his back four much protection. (5/10)
Wanderson: Did his best to get among the white shirts in the middle of the park, but the Brazilian did not see much of the ball and was replaced in Getafe's second change just past the hour. (5/10)
Victor Rodriguez: Another that struggled to cope when Real Madrid were in full throttle in the first period, but the Spaniard got on the ball after the break and improved before being replaced. (6/10)
Attack
Pablo Sarabia: Did look dangerous when he was given time and space in possession, but the Spaniard drifted in and out of the game. Getafe's attackers needed a stronger base to build from. (6/10)
Alvaro Vasquez: Simply did not have a kick in the first period. Was not short of work-rate and running, but received no service whatsoever and was replaced at the interval by Stefan Scepovic. (5/10)
Angel Lafita: Was the star of the show against Villarreal last weekend, but could not repeat that level of performance here. Smashed a couple of long-range efforts over the crossbar. (6/10)
Substitutes
Stefan Scepovic: Replaced the ineffective Vasquez at the break and found it equally as difficult to make an impression. Should have caused more problems against this Real Madrid defence. (5/10)
Pedro Leon: Introduced just past the hour and was probably his team's best player. Set up Alexis's goal with a super corner and looked a threat each time he had possession in a wide area. (6/10)
Bernard Mensah: His pace and direct running might well have caused a patched-up Real Madrid defence problems, but the attacker was only given 10 minutes to make an impression here. (6/10)
