The buildup to the summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Real Madrid eye possible reinforcements.
Florentino Perez oversaw a significant overhaul of his squad during the summer before focusing more on youth in January. As is always the case with Madrid, though, some of the biggest names in football continue to be linked.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news of possible comings and goings at the Bernabeu.
Saturday morning's Real Madrid transfer talk news roundup:
Barcelona 'beat Real Madrid to Spanish youngster'
Barcelona have reportedly secured the signature of Rayo Vallecano youngster Fabian Luzzi.
The 16-year-old is yet to make his first-team debut for Rayo but has trained with the club's senior side in the second half of the 2019-20 campaign.
Both Barca and Real Madrid have been strongly linked with the teenager, but according to Onda Cero, the reigning Spanish champions have won the race for his signature.
The report claims that Luzzi has penned a 'long-term contract' at Camp Nou, having turned down offers from a number of other clubs, with Real Madrid allegedly among those teams.
The striker's current deal with Rayo is due to expire at the end of June, meaning that Barca will only have to pay a small development rights fee in order to complete a deal.
Luzzi is expected to initially link up with the club's Juvenil A Under-19 side with the view to eventually progressing to Barcelona B.
Leicester City make contact over bid for Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic?
Leicester City have reportedly made contact with the agent of Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic.
Despite having moved to the Bernabeu in a £54m deal last summer, Jovic will be allowed to depart the Spanish giants this summer after a dismal first campaign.
However, while the Serbia international has netted just two goals in all competitions, he continues to be linked with a switch to the Premier League.
According to the Daily Star, Leicester have made an effort to hold discussions with the 22-year-old's representatives.
Brendan Rodgers is said to be keen to further strengthen his frontline during the next transfer window ahead of the club's return to Europe.
Although a loan approach appears more likely, the report claims that Los Blancos may be willing to consider offers in the region of £31m.
