Real Madrid have eased into the Champions League semi-finals after a 5-2 victory at the Santiago Bernabeu saw them secure an 8-2 aggregate win over APOEL Nicosia.
The hosts took the lead after 26 minutes when Cristiano Ronaldo was on hand at the back post to bundle in Marcelo's cross.
Marcelo was the provider again 10 minutes later when he laid the ball onto Kaka before the midfielder curled in an unstoppable shot.
APOEL pressed after half time and were rewarded on 67 minutes thanks to Gustavo Manduca's commposed strike.
It didn't take long for Madrid to find the net again as Ronaldo fired in a trademark free kick on 75 minutes to make it 3-1.
Madrid grabbed a fourth in the 80th minute when Jose Callejon lashed in a fierce drive.
The Cypriots proved persistent in attack and scored again minutes later from the penalty spot after Hamit Altintop had brought down Aldo Adorno. Esteban Solari stepped up to calmly slot past Iker Casillas.
However, Los Blancos scored a fifth in the 84th minute when Angel Di Maria found the net with an outrageous lob over the stranded keeper.
