AC Milan are allegedly contemplating a late approach for Real Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez.
Despite having spent the last two years on loan at Bayern Munich, it has been suggested that Zinedine Zidane is keen to keep Rodriguez at the Bernabeu this season.
However, with a week still remaining of the transfer window, Real will expect interest in the Colombia international.
According to journalist Alfredo Pedulla, club official Zvonimir Boban is expected in Spain to hold talks over Rodriguez and Atletico Madrid's Angel Correa.
While it is suggested that Correa remains the priority, Rodriguez represents another option for Milan, who suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to Udinese over the weekend.
Rodriguez was handed a start for Real against Real Valladolid on Saturday evening, indicating that Zidane regards the attacker as a first-team player.
