Bayern Munich are reportedly ready to open contract talks with Leroy Sane in an effort to keep him at the club beyond the end of his current deal.
The 27-year-old's existing contract at the Allianz Arena does not expire until 2025, but Bayern are thought to be keen to tie him down to fresh terms amid reported interest from elsewhere.
The likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona have been linked with moves for Sane in recent weeks, with speculation suggesting that he could consider a new challenge at the end of this season.
However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that Bayern are now planning talks with the winger over a new contract.
The German giants will reportedly make a new deal for Sane one of their top priorities over the coming months, while the report also claims that Sane is happy in Munich and would be open to extending his stay.
The Germany international has been in fine form so far this season, scoring seven goals in 11 appearances across all competitions, including six in seven Bundesliga outings.
Sane joined Bayern from Manchester City in 2020 and has since gone on to score 45 goals and create 37 more in 144 appearances for the club.
