Karim Benzema has reportedly signed a new contract with Real Madrid.
The 31-year-old striker was expected to make way for summer signing Luka Jovic this season after the Serbian signed from Eintracht Frankfurt.
However, he has instead scored six goals in seven La Liga games to cement his place as Los Blancos' starting centre-forward.
As a result, the Frenchman has been given a new contract, tying him down until the summer of 2022 and increasing his wages, according to El Chiringuito.
Benzema's form has helped to propel Los Blancos to the top of La Liga, despite a number of injuries and poor form elsewhere in the squad.
