Getafe president Angel Torres has claimed that Brahim Diaz has rejected the chance to leave Real Madrid on loan.
The 20-year-old has only made three La Liga appearances for Los Blancos this season with a series of injury problems interrupting the attacker's campaign.
Last month, it was reported that Madrid had decided to loan Diaz out at the start of 2020 with the view to securing regular football in the second half of the 2019-20 season.
However, Getafe president Torres told Onda Cero on Wednesday night that the former Manchester City youngster is currently not prepared to leave the Bernabeu on loan.
Diaz made 11 appearances for Los Blancos in the second half of last season after turning down the chance to sign a new deal with Pep Guardiola's side in order to move to the Spanish capital.
Alaves have also been credited with an interest in the youngster ahead of the winter window.
