Dani Ceballos has insisted that he is not ready to give up on his Real Madrid dream.
The 21-year-old moved to the Bernabeu from Real Betis last summer, and had been tipped to make a big impression at the Bernabeu after starring for Spain at the 2017 Under-21 European Championships.
Ceballos has only started two La Liga matches for Los Blancos this season, however, and was linked with a move away from the Spanish capital during the January transfer window.
A number of clubs are said to be closely monitoring developments ahead of the summer window, but the midfielder has said that his "dream is to become a regular with Real Madrid".
"My dream is to become a regular with Real Madrid and nobody will take that from me," Ceballos told Cadena Copa. "When you are young and have a lot of ambition, it is not easy to not be playing regularly but I realise that you must be patience.
"When I have had the opportunities and the minutes with Madrid I have tried to maximise them, and don't want to have any regrets."
Ceballos has scored twice in 19 appearances for Real Madrid this season.
