David Alaba has reportedly been in Madrid since Tuesday looking for a house, with the left-back set to join Real Madrid on a free transfer at the start of July.

The Austria international will be leaving Bayern Munich on a free transfer at the end of June, and Los Blancos have seemingly won the race for his signature.

According to GOL TV, Alaba has been in the Spanish capital since Tuesday and is currently looking for a house, as he prepares to make the move from Germany.

There has not yet been an official confirmation over a switch to Zinedine Zidane's side, but it is widely understood that the La Liga giants have already agreed a contract with the Austrian.

Alaba, who had also been linked with a move to the Premier League, ended the 2020-21 campaign with two goals and seven assists in 45 appearances for Bayern in all competitions.

The versatile defender will leave the Allianz Arena having won 10 Bundesliga titles. body check tags ::
