Borussia Dortmund are reportedly expected to win the race to secure a season-long loan deal for Real Madrid youngster Reinier Jesus.
Despite signing from Flamengo in January, Reinier is yet to make his first-team debut for Los Blancos, instead spending time in the second-string setup.
Given the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic, there is a scenario where the 18-year-old could be fast-tracked into the senior group over the coming weeks.
However, according to ESPN, Zinedine Zidane has given the green light for the teenager to spend the next campaign representing Dortmund in the Bundesliga.
Although Bayer Leverkusen have also been linked with the Brazilian, it appears that Dortmund have put together the more attractive package, both financially and with regards to playing time.
The report adds that Dortmund do not have the option of signing Reinier on a permanent basis in 2021.
