Ex-West Ham United defender Julien Faubert has admitted that he is looking to move away from Bordeaux at the end of this season.
The 31-year-old has struggled for regular first-team football at the Ligue 1 outfit since Willy Sagnol took charge of the club.
With the emergence of Brazilian Mariano at right-back, Faubert's role at Bordeaux has become limited, forcing the former Real Madrid player to seek pastures new.
He told Sud Ouest: "They know what I want: to spend time on the pitch and not end my career on the bench. I cannot afford to wait indefinitely for the club to make a decision.
"If an opportunity that I like presents itself, I will not hesitate. At 31, I still want to experience new sensations. The way things are looking, I think my future is likely to be elsewhere."
Bordeaux are currently sixth in Ligue 1, 11 points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain.
