Gareth Bale is reportedly set to remain at Real Madrid until at least January after being denied a move to the Chinese Super League.
The Welshman has been told by Zinedine Zidane that he is not part of the manager's plans at the Bernabeu next season.
A move to Jiangsu Suning, where he would have earned £1m a week, fell through at the last minute after Real demanded a transfer fee of around £20m.
According to AS, Bale has made it clear that he is willing to stay put at the Bernabeu despite Zidane having no intentions of playing him.
The Los Blancos boss has placed an emphasis on giving chances to young attackers such as Vinicius Junior, Mariano and Rodrygo over pre-season.
Bale returned to training with the La Liga side yesterday after Zidane declared that the Welshman was not fit ahead of Real's defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Audi Cup.
