Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that he recently advised Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe to make the move to Real Madrid.
The World Cup winner is free to discuss terms with foreign clubs after entering the last six months of his PSG deal, with Real Madrid still thought to be leading the race for his signature.
PSG are supposedly hoping to tie Mbappe down to a short-term extension this year, but Ibrahimovic has told the former Monaco man that a move to the Bernabeu may be best for him.
When asked about Mbappe's future by L'Equipe, the AC Milan striker said: "Only Kylian can answer this question, it depends on what he wants and what he thinks.
"It is true that one day he asked me and I replied, 'If I were you, I would go to Real Madrid.' I had the opportunity to play for different teams in different countries, that's how I learned and grew up. Playing at home your entire career is easy."
Mbappe boasts 19 goals and 15 assists from 27 games in all tournaments this term and has recovered from a groin problem in time for Sunday's Ligue 1 clash with Reims. body check tags ::
