Inter Milan would reportedly be prepared to sell Mauro Icardi for just £43m at the end of the season.
Icardi was stripped of the captain's armband at Inter in February and has not turned out for the club since, missing each of their last five Serie A matches, although he has recently returned to training.
A recent report claimed that Inter had placed a £68m value on the 26-year-old, who will see his current deal with the Italian giants expire at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
However, according to Marca, the Argentine could be allowed to leave for £43m, which is expected to spark a host of summer interest.
Real Madrid continue to be strongly linked with a swoop for the centre-forward, while Manchester United have also been credited with an interest.
Icardi has scored 122 times in 210 appearances for Inter since a 2013 switch from Sampdoria.
