Real Madrid are willing to improve their previous offers for Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi, according to a report.
Los Blancos allegedly came close to signing the Argentina international in January 2018, only for talks with his agent and wife Wanda Nara to break down.
Real have since looked elsewhere for a prolific goalscorer but, having had no real success in finding a replacement for Karim Benzema, Calciomercato suggests that Icardi is now back on their radar.
The report indicates that the Spanish giants have contacted the 26-year-old and his club, but no formal offer has yet been tabled.
Madrid, now under the management of Zinedine Zidane following his return earlier this week, are putting plans together to overhaul their squad in the summer and Icardi may form part of the Frenchman's new-look side for the start of 2019-20.
