The agent of Everton playmaker James Rodriguez has reportedly begun offering his client to clubs across Europe, including Real Madrid.
After Carlo Ancelotti's sudden exit from the club to rejoin Los Blancos as manager for a second time, the futures of the Toffees' most prized assets have become shrouded in uncertainty.
Rodriguez and Ancelotti enjoy a positive relationship having worked together at Real and briefly at Bayern Munich, and the Colombian is supposedly keen to head for the Goodison exit door following Ancelotti's departure.
According to the Daily Mail, Rodriguez's agent Jorge Mendes is working hard to find him a new club, and Real Madrid have been contacted over his availability.
The report adds that a return to the Bernabeu for Rodriguez is unlikely, but Mendes has also been in touch with La Liga champions Atletico Madrid, as well as Serie A duo Napoli and AC Milan, the latter of whom recently saw Hakan Calhanoglu move to bitter rivals Inter Milan.
Injury problems prevented Rodriguez from making an impact in the second half of the 2020-21 season, but he still managed six goals and five assists from 23 Premier League appearances for Everton last term.
