Juventus are reportedly planning a shock £76m bid for Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos next summer.
The 26-year-old signed a new six-year deal with the La Liga giants in October after a summer in which he had been linked with a switch to the Premier League.
According to AS, the Serie A champions are now seriously interested in bringing in the Germany international just one year after they splashed out £76m on Gonzalo Higuain.
Kroos's new contract included a release clause of £255m, but Juve believe that a fee of around £76m - his market valuation of £50m, plus a bonus £26m incentive - will be enough to tempt Madrid into selling.
In the January window, Juve - currently four points clear at the top of the Serie A - are hoping to complete a deal for Atalanta prospect Franck Kessie, while the club is also said to be monitoring the situation of Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez.
