The mother and representative of Kylian Mbappe has said that talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a potential new deal "are going well".
Real Madrid made an attempt to sign the France international in the latter stages of the recent transfer window, and Mbappe has recently admitted that he requested to leave PSG over the summer.
Los Blancos are expected to return for the 22-year-old in 2022, as his current deal with Mauricio Pochettino's side is due to expire next June.
However, Fayza Lamari, who acts as her son's representative, has suggested that the World Cup winner could yet sign a new contract in the French capital.
"We are currently in talks with PSG and things are going well," Lamari told Le Parisien. "I was even with Leonardo last night (Monday). After that, will we come to an agreement? One thing is certain: he will give his all until the end to win the Champions League.
"Kylian needs to be fulfilled. If he's unhappy, he's able to tell you: I'm quitting my career. And he often tells us that by the way. With Kylian, everything can change overnight."
Mbappe has scored four times and registered five assists in 11 appearances for PSG this season. body check tags ::
