Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic is reportedly close to re-joining Eintracht Frankfurt on loan for the remainder of the 2020-21 campaign.
The Serbian international has failed to nail down a regular place in Zinedine Zidane's starting lineup since his £54m transfer from the German outfit in June 2019.
Jovic, who has made only one start for the club this season, has become the third-choice centre-forward behind Karim Benzema and Mariano Diaz, and the Spanish giants are willing to let the 23-year-old leave the club this month.
Marca reports that the striker's agents are ironing out the 'final details' for his loan move from the Bernabeu, and the Bundesliga club's sporting director has also revealed that the deal is close to completion.
"Luka Jovic is about to arrive at our club until next summer. There are still some details, such as the medical check-up, but if all is well, he will be back with us soon," Fredi Bobic told Eintracht Frankfurt's Twitter page.
Jovic is expected to return to the Bundesliga side in a hope to revive his career at a club where he scored 27 goals in 48 appearances during the 2018-19 campaign.
