Real Madrid will reportedly switch focus to landing Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho if their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe fails.
Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane has made no secret of his desire to sign compatriot Mbappe, who has lit up Ligue 1 with Monaco and PSG over the past four seasons.
The French champions are reluctant to sell the 21-year-old, however, meaning that Madrid may be forced to look elsewhere for a new attacking option.
According to a report in Spain, Sancho is being considered as an alternative after another impressive Bundesliga campaign at Dortmund.
Sancho, who has a combined 50 goals and assists in the German top flight over the past two seasons, is also believed to be a target for Manchester United.
