Kylian Mbappe reportedly intends to make a final decision on his future within the next two weeks.
For the second time in his career, Mbappe has entered the final six months of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain, whom he has represented since 2017.
On the first occasion in 2022, it appeared likely that the France international would end his time at Parc des Princes to link up with Real Madrid.
However, the versatile attacker performed a late U-turn and committed his immediate future to PSG, it initially being claimed that he had penned a three-year deal.
Instead, it was a two-year contract with the option of activating a third, and Mbappe informed PSG that he intended on leaving on a free transfer this summer as far back as the start of 2023-24.
Despite banishing the 25-year-old from first-team matters at the time, the relevant parties have since reconciled with Mbappe, who has starred once again this campaign.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has publicly suggested that he remains confident of convincing Mbappe that he should continue his career in the French capital.
Meanwhile, Mbappe has recently reiterated that he remains fully focused on producing for PSG, albeit while admitting that he has plans to take on a fresh challenge elsewhere at some stage in his career.
According to a report in AS, Mbappe intends to reach a final decision by the middle of February.
There are realistically two options on the table for the 2018 World Cup winner, either stay at PSG or make the switch to long-term suitors Real Madrid.
